Anti-Static–Fabrics with carbon, copper or silver wrapped fibers that have Anti-static properties. Properties that are valuable in any electrical or clean room applications.

Lamination–Fabrics that are suitable for lamination that can be used for various seating or automotive applications or multi layer fabrics that are breathable, waterproof, and wind resistant. High tech fabrics with durable water repellent finishes and high waterproof polyurethane membranes.

UV Treatments–There are some good options that Akko Canada is able to offer you. Options such as topical treatments to fabrics so they withstand the sun’s ultra-violent rays for an extended period of time, ultimately reducing fading. For a higher level of color fastness and UV protection, solution dyed yarns yield a long lasting, fade resistant fabric. Select an area to comment on Lint Free towels and cloths made out of microfibers. They are specially designed fabrics so that all lint is picked up and no residues are left behind, unlike disposable paper towel or cotton.

Fire Resistant–We offer inherently fire resistant fabrics that meet California Bulletin117, as well as items that have topical treatments that will allow a slightly higher resistance. High Strength–Items such as high tenacity type 6.6 nylon made for outdoor use such as flags and banners. Waterproof–We offer general waterproof PU coatings that withstand water column testing for 600 and 700 mm. We also have the ability to produce coatings or laminates that have much higher rating of waterproofness such as 5,000 mm. Filtration–fabric items that conform to highly regulated CFM standards for air permeability.

Non-wovens-We offer non woven soaker fabrics for incontinent pads, or synthetic non woven that have been used for automobile covers, shoe liners, patient slings and filtration fabrics.
